Olive harvest; St Helena, CA

We flew.
The child got sick (the puke kind).
It rained.











I put just a portion in a box and brought them home.
30+ lbs!

Up in Seattle we have snow.
I stayed in and started cracking so that I can get the de-bittering process going (needs 25-30 days).




In the box.


Slowly I'm taking them out by the 'cottage cheese container' scoop full. Cracking one by one and putting them into the white bucket to fill with water.


...I'm gonna be here a while...
